Following our International Finance department expansion, Mindray Medical España, S.L. is searching for a high calibre, target driven, and results orientated Accounts Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Accounting & Tax Manager Spain with production of finance and accounting information for our ES subsidiary of Mindray Europe.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Accounts payable: Vendor invoice checking and approvals via SAP Concur according to procedure, limits and approval process.
  2. Assist and coordinate with Shared Service Department in China who complete accounting processes for Spain Finance.
  3. Accounts receivable: Processing daily bank journals and weekly bank reconciliation.
  4. Assisting preparation of overdue AR customers for local collection in Spanish.
  5. Credit management: Perform credit control procedures on new accounts and annual review on established accounts.
  6. Monitoring and releasing sales orders in credit block.
  7. Responsible for collection of receivables from customers.
  8. Contact customers by telephone and/or letter if necessary.
  9. Reviews customers’ credit limits and accounts.
  10. Send monthly statements.
  11. Issues escalation or final notice letters.
  12. Dealing with customers queries.
  13. Employee Expense management: Manage expense processing and approvals using SAP Concur.
  14. Prepare expense journals.
  15. Assist employees in understanding of expense policy and respond to queries as required.
  16. Assist with the control and management of company fuel cards & mobiles.
  17. Other Tasks: Assist logistics/customer service with the management and control of inventory and undertake monthly finance stock check.
  18. Assist with internal and external auditors’ requirements.

What are we looking for in you?

  1. Part qualified ideally working towards recognized Spanish Accounting qualification.
  2. Able to communicate both orally and written in English is essential.
  3. A keen eye for detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  4. Knowledge of SAP (desirable).
  5. A good understanding of Excel.
  6. Ability to work in the country for which you have applied without the requirement of company sponsorship.
