Our technical teams are crucial to 360Learning's response to our demanding customers and are strategic for our growth. We are hiring a Software Engineer with a new scope focused on developing custom plugins and extensions tailored to specific customer needs. These plugins will be separate from our core product and accessible only to requesting customers. The role involves:

1. Leading complex technical challenges with a focus on clean architecture for long-term growth.
2. Working with a modern tech stack: MongoDB, Node.js, Vue.js, and migrating to TypeScript.
3. Developing and integrating custom extensions via our API, working on both frontend and backend.
4. Growing within an R&D team that promotes rapid progress, peer review, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Within 1 month, you will:

• Discover the platform.
• Understand the codebase and team processes.
• Integrate into peer review practices.

Within 3 months, you will:

• Join the squad to address customer-specific needs.
• Enhance your skills in our stack (Node, Vue, TypeScript, JS).

Within 6 months, you will:

• Develop our public API for new use cases.
• Maintain high quality through documentation, refactoring, and analysis.
• Share best practices and create courses on our platform.
• Implement tools to improve quality and velocity.

Within 12 months, you will:

• Onboard new engineers.
• Own parts of the codebase.
• Work on complex functionalities impacting multiple teams.
• Collaborate with product squads.

Skills required:

• Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent training.
• Well-rounded in software development.
• Experience creating intuitive, efficient interfaces.
• Comfortable with algorithms.
• Fluent in English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent in French.
• Enthusiastic about our working environment.
