Role overview

We are hiring an Accounting Manager to join our growing team in Barcelona. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Forvis Mazars in an international environment across Europe.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review month-end closing activities and reporting.
  • Supervise team tasks across various processes such as banking, treasury, and accounts payable.
  • Manage planning, resource allocation, and team productivity.
  • Handle client requests, ensure timely deliverables, and monitor project KPIs.
  • Provide training and support to team members.
  • Organize resources to meet client demands effectively.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a multinational environment; experience in Big4 is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision) and Excel.
  • Excellent English communication skills; French skills are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, proactive, and flexible mindset.
  • Experience in project management and risk identification.
