ALOHAS seeks an Accounting Junior to enhance its finance team. This role involves day-to-day accounting operations, report generation, and collaboration across departments within a vibrant startup focused on sustainability. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, relevant experience, and a degree in a related field.

THE ROLE
As an Accounting Junior, you’ll be fully embedded into the finance organization and engage with stakeholders across the business including other accounting colleagues, Audit, Business Controls and Transformation. This role will give you the opportunity to gain insight into the operation of a dynamic accounting function and how it contributes to the success of the business.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
Process and enter invoices and financial data into our ERP system.
Perform bank reconciliations and match them with invoices.
Monitor and control company transactions : both incoming (pay-ins) and outgoing (pay-outs).
Generate and analyze financial reports for monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc reviews.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and accounting entries.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting queries.
Take part in monthly closing activities.
Support both internal and external audits.
YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivots, VLOOKUPs, etc).
Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly.
Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
Fluency in Spanish; English is a strong plus
