Overview

Accounting Assistant (maternity leave) role at ACCA Careers . Global organization with over a century of experience dedicated to advancing education and knowledge.


Responsibilities


  • Provide assessment to all employees on the Global Travel Expense policy and local travel procedures.

  • Partner with all departments, and train staff in the Concur tool to raise expense reports, meet deadlines, and approve expense reports.

  • Manage Concur incidences.

  • Manage the relationship between local Travel Agency, Iberia Finance and other departments that interact with travel requests.

  • Coordinate the local vehicle ordering and approval process with the Iberia Finance Branch Director. Manage the relation with the company car vendor. Manage fuel cards. Support the payment of traffic fines by employees.

  • Review monthly information provided by external Payroll firm regarding employee payslips. Support the preparation of payroll records.

  • Support requests for corporate credit cards and assist employees with incidentals.

  • Upload daily bank electronic statements into the SAP ERP. Post bank transactions.

  • Prepare SAP payment runs to vendors.

  • Prepare, execute and control recurrent entries into the General Ledger as the Payroll or Corporate Credit Card accruals.

  • Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet accounts under responsibility.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with solid knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and auditing.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting.

  • Solution-oriented, accountable, adaptable, and fluent in English (B2 level or higher).

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and intermediate Excel skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
