Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual wishing to work in a highly international environment.

This is a part-time position (50%), reporting to the Finance & Office Manager based in Geneva. You will:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for international societies, including bookkeeping in multiple currencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information for association account preparation.
  • Update budgets and projections.
  • Prepare financial reports (balance sheets, profit & loss accounts), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with year-end closing procedures and support the preparation of financial statements for audits.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least three years of professional experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and high proficiency in Excel.
  • Comfortable with Office 365 and Teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
