An established industry player is seeking a GL Accountant to support their Contract Logistics business in Spain on a temporary basis. • Associates degree or post high school education in Business / Accounting required.

We are looking for a GL Accountant who can support in our Contract Logistics business in Spain on a temporary basis.

About the Role

How you will contribute

1. Review Intercompany and external invoicing and follow up
2. Process monthly journal entries and maintain back up and support
3. Support SOX compliance consolidated reporting requirements
4. Ensure documentation for assigned region is stored on data room.
5. Ensure compliance by Controllers in region.
6. Complete Month-end reporting packages, checklists, approvals from Site Managers per SOX requirements.
7. Ensure SG&A SAP asset listings are current (annual validation from field – IE : IT) and leased asset listing is complete.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

1. Associates degree or post high school education in Business / Accounting
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
3. Knowledge of SAP
4. Strong knowledge of Windows XP, Excel, Power Point
5. Experience in accounting administration.
