Job Description:

Are you native or fluent in French? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge to develop your career in Accounting? If you have experience in the field, we have an amazing opportunity for you!

Our client, a global company in the manufacturing/plastic sector, that designs and manufactures safety products, is looking for a new Accountant in French and English to join their team in Barcelona.

Tasks

• Manage general accounting for entities in the Netherlands, France, and a third group company
• Oversee EMEA consolidation and liaise with auditors and consultants
• Process journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, and review supplier invoices
• Handle accounts payable, including aging analysis and payment execution
• Coordinate with external advisors on CIT, VAT, INTRASTAT, and compliance matters
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation
• Communicate with customers regarding orders or product availability as needed
• Support special projects and assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• French Native and full professional-level of English
• Preferably a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with MS Office are essential
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures
• Experience with consolidation in the Netherlands and accounting management in France
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
