Job Description:

Forvis Mazars Group SC is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network operating in over 100 countries. We specialize in audit, tax, and advisory services.

To support our strategic move to centralize services across Europe, we have established the Global Compliance & Reporting service, which utilizes teams, processes, and technology to help multinational groups meet their accounting, tax, payroll, and legal obligations both locally and internationally. This information is centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE).

We are hiring an Accountant Trainee in Barcelona to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to contribute to a strategic project within Forvis Mazars and work in an international, English-speaking environment across Europe.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with interactions with assigned clients across various sectors and sizes.
2. Supporting the preparation, analysis, and review of clients’ general accounting activities.
3. Helping prepare reports, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, and additional client requests.
4. Preparing documentation for recurrent client obligations.
5. Supporting the compilation of annual accounts and official books.
6. Contributing to the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal processes.
7. Assisting in other departmental functions as per your skills.

Candidate requirements:

• Currently studying in the 4th year of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or economics.
• Availability to start immediately and to formalize an internship agreement.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or C1 level).
• Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment and prioritize workload.
