Your mission as an Accountant Spain - Fixed-term contract (6 months)

As an Accountant Spain using SAGE, you will significantly impact our business growth by ensuring our accounting and reporting systems are scalable and support company decision-making.

You will focus on developing and maintaining client invoicing and collaborate closely with our Director of Finance and the Spain Country Manager.

This position is a fixed-term contract expected to last 6 months.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with invoicing procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Managing client credit balances to align with company financial records
• Tracking and managing payment schedules for timely client payments
• Maintaining accurate financial reports and ledgers for Appinio SLU
• Acting as a liaison between client needs and internal reporting procedures
• Managing follow-up on client requests requiring administrative tasks
• Preparing VAT (303 / 349 / 390), Withholding Tax (111 / 216 / 190 / 296), and other mandatory reports (232, INE Surveys, Batuz, etc.)
• Closing accounts and preparing financial statements
• Providing administrative support to maintain office efficiency
• Organizing and maintaining documents, records, reports, and certificates, coordinating with HR, Sales, Legal departments to ensure information is up-to-date

You will thrive in this role if

• You have experience in administrative support and financial coordination
• You are proficient in software management and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• You have experience in accurate financial record-keeping
• You possess strong organizational and multitasking skills
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• You are proficient in English and Spanish
• A Bachelor's degree in Business is a plus
• Knowledge of Basque Country and Colombian taxation is a plus
