MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and collaborate on monthly closing tasks, leading related activities.
• Manage the general ledger accounts and journal entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, balance sheet reclassifications, revaluations, VAT offset, and review of Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet prior to monthly financial accounts production.
• Handle intercompany accounting, asset accounting (depreciations), and lease accounting.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for Balance Sheet reconciliations and oversee cash reporting.
• Supervise the preparation of cash flow forecasts and resolve issues identified in quality controls (e.g., VAT code, currency, legal entity).
• Prepare VAT reporting schedules for approval, monitor payment runs, and manage bank payment approvals.
• Maintain an end-to-end view of financial processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience in intercompany reconciliation.
• Proficiency in English (Italian is a plus).
• Knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Organizational and time management skills, with good communication and attention to detail.
