The Institutional Investment Group (2IG) is one of the leading independent investment platforms for real estate and other real assets in Germany and Europe. With approx. 350 employees, 2IG administrates and manages assets of more than 50 billion euros in approx. 25 countries.

2IG primarily specializes in services related to institutional real estate funds under German and Luxembourg law. By consistently aligning itself with customer groups, it operates several Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) in Germany and Luxembourg.

To further expand our team, we are looking for candidates of various levels of experience who want to work in different areas of fund and investment accounting and help shape our company. Depending on your prior experience, you will join us in either a junior or senior position. Accountants who have not yet had the opportunity to gain experience in fund or investment accounting are also welcome.

We are looking for individuals with competence, ideas, initiative, and the willingness to contribute significantly in small and highly qualified teams.

Your Tasks and Opportunities

• Assume various responsibilities in accounting for real estate funds or real estate companies, depending on the area of deployment and your prior experience.
• Be responsible for preparing annual, interim and special financial statements for funds or investment companies.
• Participate in the purchase and sale of real estate and companies.
• Be the point of contact for accounting issues from clients, auditors, and tax advisors of the funds or companies you manage.

Your Profile

• A degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, or ideally completed training as an accountant or have solid professional experience in accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Relevant knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and / or IFRS.
• Proficient in SAP R / 3 or a comparable accounting software as well as in Microsoft Office products.
• Enjoy working with numbers and have a meticulous and independent work style.
• Have a positive work attitude, a high level of commitment and teamwork, as well as excellent communication skills.
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken are a must.
