A leading company in Madrid is seeking an Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable, assist in financial reporting, and support ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and strong analytical skills.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
2. Monitor and review accounts receivable, including corporate invoicing processes.
3. Ensure timely bank payments and reconciliations.
4. Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
5. Assist the Senior Accountant with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
6. Assist in preparing financial reports such as financial statements and ad-hoc reports.
7. Support the implementation of the new ERP system and other accounting projects.
8. Perform any other tasks required for the role.

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of experience in accounting roles.
2. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
3. Advanced MS Excel skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.
6. Experience with Microsoft accounting software is a plus.
7. B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent.
