The Position
Our GBS Finance Department in Barcelona is looking for an Accountant to join the team!

About the Location and the Department
The position will be located at Terrassa office, which is in the Santa Margarita industrial park.

You will join our Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant accounting records in line with local regulations and global policies.

The position reports to the Finance Manager.

Who You Are
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You must have a good understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax requirements. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.

Required Experience and Skills
- Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Experience working with financial systems (IFS, SAP, or similar).
- Solid MS Excel skills.




- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy, systematic thinking, and initiative.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

What You Will Be Doing
- Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Analysis of profit and loss accounts and reporting variances.
- Support in monthly closings and financial year-end.
- Prepare and validate reports for tax authorities.
- Support in internal and external audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting of supplier invoices.
- Cash operations and monitoring of cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, fiscal regulations, and group policies.
