Job Description:

As an Accountant in the Global Front Office in Madrid, you will be part of the Global Delivery organization, which is responsible for delivering efficient and harmonized processes in Purchase To Pay (PTP), Order To Cash (OTC), and General Accounts Receivable (GAR). The Global Front Office handles judgment-based activities, reporting, and analysis of financial data, including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments, and cost control, in cooperation with business controllers and the Group Finance function.

In this role, reporting to the OTC Global Front Office Manager, you will serve as the interface between the Business Process Outsourcing teams and the Polestar organization. Your responsibilities will include maintaining strong relationships across departments, handling inquiries related to OTC processes (such as customer master data, invoice processing, payment application, overdue analysis, customer inquiries, and OTC closing activities), leading process change initiatives, creating desktop procedures, and monitoring KPIs.

Qualifications include a university degree in Finance or equivalent, 1-3 years of accounting experience, good IT system understanding, knowledge of financial processes and policies, fluency in English, and strong communication skills. Experience with Workday is a plus. You should be capable of executing global processes, working effectively in a team, planning and prioritizing, and participating in projects. A service-minded, curious, and high-integrity attitude with analytical skills and deadline management is essential.
