Overview

The Accountant supports the EMEA Accounting Team, responsible for supervising US GAAP books of EMEA Legal Entities and preparing and delivering Statutory Books in compliance with local and corporate policies.

The Accounting Team plays a key role in delivering controllership activities related to Legal Entities, including Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Internal Controls. It also supports business and accounting teams with accounting matters, serving as the center of expertise.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Payroll Accounting
    • Review payroll outputs, investigate and correct errors, and post payroll data in the Finance system
    • Maintain payroll-related accruals
    • Prepare payroll account reconciliations in line with the Global Account Reconciliation Policy
    • Assist with restructuring programs
    • Support payroll-related projects
  • Support the Accounting Team with analysis of balance sheets and income statements, and prepare and file country-specific Financial Statistics, Income Tax Accruals, and payments
  • Assist with external and internal audits

Qualifications

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience with US GAAP
  • Previous experience in Big4 or multinational companies is a plus
  • Business proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional European language is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP is beneficial
