A global leader in chemicals is seeking an Accountant to join their EMEA Accounting Team. This position will engage in payroll accounting, support financial analyses, and prepare statutory financials in compliance with both local and corporate policies. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and have robust experience in accounting environments, particularly familiar with US GAAP.
The Accountant supports the EMEA Accounting Team, responsible for supervising US GAAP books of EMEA Legal Entities and preparing Statutory Books in compliance with local and corporate policies.
The Accounting Team plays a key role in delivering controllership activities related to Legal Entities, including Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Internal Controls. It also supports business and accounting teams with accounting matters, serving as a center of expertise.
Responsibilities :
YOU will be involved in the following tasks :
Review payroll outputs, investigate and correct errors, and post payroll data in the Finance system.
