Celanese Corporation is seeking an Accountant to support its EMEA Accounting Team. The role involves overseeing payroll accounting and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local policies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and prior experience in similar roles. The Accountant supports the EMEA Accounting Team, responsible for supervising US GAAP books of EMEA Legal Entities and preparing Statutory Books in compliance with local and corporate policies.
The Accounting Team plays a key role in delivering controllership activities related to Legal Entities, including Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Internal Controls. It also supports business and accounting teams with accounting matters, serving as a center of expertise.
Responsibilities :

Review payroll outputs, investigate and correct errors, and post payroll data in the Finance system.
