A growing German family-owned business is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their international team. The successful candidate will manage accounts receivable, perform VAT reporting, and maintain financial records using SAP while exhibiting strong communication skills in both Spanish and English. This hybrid role offers both freelance and employment contract options, providing a fixed salary plus bonus.

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting.
  • Very good SAP FI skills, experience in SAP SD and MM is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of German will be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, perform bookkeeping and payment tasks.
  • Handle VAT reporting to tax office and manage fixed assets accounting.
  • Prepare cash forecasts and analyze monthly working capital reports.

Our client is a German family-owned business with international subsidiaries all over the world. Responsibilities

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable; bookkeeping and payment
  • Deposit and post cash daily (based on electronic bank statements)
  • Review & post monthly travel expense reports
  • Prepare credit card payments, perform dunning and manage accounts receivable
  • Perform VAT reporting to tax office and INTRASTAT reporting out of SAP
  • Administration of credit insurances and contact person for our credit insurer
  • Perform fixed assets accounting
  • Review and clear the clearing accounts in SAP (GR / IR accounts)
  • Check monthly depreciation and foreign currency evaluation
  • Quarterly intercompany reconciliations with related parties
  • Supply information on related matters as requested by the managing director or third parties
  • Contact person for Finance / Controlling / Accounting in Germany
  • Contact person for local MD & team for payments, travel expenses, etc.
  • Contact person for payroll accountants / tax advisors / auditors / local bank
  • Oversee cash availability and prepare cash forecast
  • Preparation, analysis and commenting of the monthly working capital report
  • Execution of liquidity forecasts and evaluations for the company management
  • Ongoing monitoring of external service providers (BPO / CPA)
  • Quarterly analysis of the results
  • Annual closing : Assumption of certain tasks in consultation with the team

Requirements

  • Education in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting
  • Very good SAP FI skills. Having experience in SAP SD and MM will be a strong asset
  • Safe handling of MS Office tools
  • Native level of Spanish and f luent level of technical English
  • Knowledge of German will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of tax, accounting, balance sheet and consolidation
