The Job

About the role :

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing valuable financial insights to support the company's financial health. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Oversee Payroll Management
• Prepare Financial Reports according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Ensure German Tax Compliance
• Handle Expense Management
• Support Audit Processes
• Implement Process Improvements
• Engage in E-Commerce activities

The Profile

Your experience :

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with general accounting practices, German accounting regulations, and systems
• Knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ERP Next is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English (speaking, listening, reading, and writing); knowledge of German is a plus
