Formación

• 4+ años de experiencia en contabilidad para empresas en España.
• Conocimiento sólido de las leyes fiscales españolas y requisitos de informes.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar operaciones contables diarias y asegurar cumplimiento con la normativa española.
• Preparar y presentar todas las declaraciones fiscales, incluyendo IVA e impuestos corporativos.

We are expanding our global team and looking for an Accountant to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting transactions, month-end close activities, internal and external reporting, and annual audits.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Spanish GAAP and local tax regulations.

Act as the sole accountant for the Spanish entity, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related matters. Communicate directly with local accounting and tax advisors.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing annual financial statements and other required reports.

Prepare and submit all tax filings, including VAT (IVA), corporate income tax (Impuesto sobre Sociedades), payroll taxes, and other relevant filings.

Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with Spanish tax laws and accounting standards.

Stay updated on changes in Spanish tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Accounting / Bookkeeping for a company / companies based in Spain

Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.

Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Highly autonomous and transparent in work approach.

Proactive and action-oriented, with a ‘default to action’ mentality.

Self-starter with a strong motivation to deliver.
