A leading global organization in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting and fixed assets accounting. This role requires a strong background in IFRS and US GAAP, as well as relevant experience in a SOX environment. Formación

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in medium to large organization.
• Experience working in a SOX environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end financial reporting procedures and prepare all journals and reconciliations.
• Lead fixed assets capitalization process ensuring US GAAP reporting and local tax compliance.
• Backup for the Senior Financial Accountant.

Our client is a US listed global leader who has been growing in size and in sophistication and has 20 units in its network throughout Europe. They are seeking an Accountant to take ownership and responsibility for the end-to-end process for fixed assets accounting, holding entities accounting, and to serve as the backup for the Senior Financial Accountant.

Role Description

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the month end financial reporting procedures, preparing all journals and reconciliations, and working with the Senior Financial Controller and FP&A on the Budgeting and Forecasting for the holding entities. You will also lead the fixed assets capitalization process, assuring USGAAP reporting and Local tax compliance, as well as serve as the backup for the Senior Financial Accountant.

Must Have Skills

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in medium to large organization
• IFRS and US GAAP technical knowledge
• Experience working in a SOX environment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Nice to Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree with CA, CPA or similar qualification
• Experience using Oracle Accounting software
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
