Commercial Enterprise organizations expect technology to be the main enabler of innovation to deliver organizational priorities and goals. Account Technology Strategists (ATS) inspire and ideate with customers about the possibilities technology provides, drive thought leadership in digital transformation, and build strategic partnerships with C-level technology and innovation executives.

The ATS is responsible for designing strategies and architectures to drive the digitalization and innovation agenda of public sector customers, acting as the Innovation and Digital Transformation Thought Leader. With deep business understanding, broad technology skills, and industry knowledge, ATS starts with the innovation/digital transformation agenda of financial services customers, connects business and industry priorities to technology strategy, and develops value propositions aligned with organizational strategies, leveraging Microsoft's portfolio and partner ecosystem.

Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Digital Transformation & Innovation Strategy: Understand customer goals, trends in financial services, Microsoft solutions, and partner solutions to build a three-horizon roadmap enabling the digital transformation and innovation agenda. Expand Microsoft relationships into digital transformation partnerships.
  • Technology Thought Leadership: Reimagine technology's role as a business and innovation partner, helping customers understand emerging and strategic technologies, and inspiring them to see Microsoft technologies as enablers of business innovation.
  • Industry & Business Architecture: Create long-term strategies linking business, technology, and industry needs to enable transformation strategies based on customer insights.
  • Technology Sales: Orchestrate sales activities to drive digital transformation visions, plan solution proposals, and coordinate teams to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Account Leadership: Inspire and ideate with customers about new technology possibilities, own and strengthen relationships with C-level executives, and act as a change agent internally and externally.
Responsibilities include:
  • Gaining customer and industry insights to generate business insights, forecast, and develop account management recommendations.
  • Collaborating across teams, gathering information, and addressing broader business challenges with solutions.
  • Applying expertise to build digital transformation strategies aligned with business outcomes and challenging customer assumptions.
  • Acting as a virtual CTO/CDO, advising on solutions, and positioning Microsoft capabilities to meet customer needs.
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of Microsoft's products, solutions, and strategy in the industry.
