Sales is the team responding to incoming queries and helping customers understand how to maximize Remote's full suite of products to meet their employment needs. This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an Account Executive, joining our Sales Team in the Swiss region. This is a pure hunting role as an Account Executive, driving net new business for Remote.

What you bring

  • Proven success in building key customer relationships, including key decision makers and champions to drive successful client outcomes, grow accounts, and drive revenue outcomes, as well as a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Native or professional fluency in German and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes, demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities involving multiple key decision makers, initiate and convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quota.
  • Ability to confidently build an outbound sales pipeline by utilizing a mix of different channels, including cold calls.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work independently and as an active member of the team.
  • Efficient in multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry.
  • Ability to build trust with clients and work as an advisor.
  • Capable of forecasting sales to achieve targets on a monthly basis.
  • Experience in the HR industry is a plus.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 'Land' opportunity deals with detailed notes and accurate close dates.
  • Meet and exceed sales quota based on role level and manage the entire sales cycle.
  • Identify new opportunities and manage the sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Maintain a current and clean pipeline of high-velocity opportunities.
  • Present and deliver information effectively to potential clients.
  • Promptly answer client questions and follow up as needed.
  • Collaborate internally with key departments supporting client processes and support.
  • Close sales deals efficiently while guiding clients through the process.
  • Design solutions tailored to small and mid-sized business needs.
  • Generate leads through calls, networking, and industry events.

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote aims to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits globally. We pay above local in-location rates to support global talent hiring and local wealth in developing countries. Our salary range for this role is $37,475 USD to $126,550 USD, depending on factors like location, skills, and experience. Actual pay depends on various factors and may vary.
