As an Account Executive, you will lead relationship management while supporting sales and business development activities for our customers in Belgium and The Netherlands. You will be the 'Voice of the Customer' from contract cradle to grave for assigned accounts. Your role involves fostering key relationships with our customers to ensure Westinghouse provides unique support through deep customer understanding and engagement with our products and services.

You will report to the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer and be based in Belgium, with flexibility to work from home.

  1. Grow opportunity pipeline and support volume and quality of orders.
  2. Build relationships as a trusted business advisor with utility executives through relevant technical knowledge, enabling deep understanding of customer strategies and needs; use that insight to generate sales opportunities and facilitate revenue growth across all product and service areas.
  3. Maintain awareness of execution of all customer projects to ensure safe, quality delivery and that contractual obligations are met.
  4. Identify sales opportunities through knowledge of Westinghouse products and services that meet current and future customer needs.
  5. Apply knowledge of customer business strategies, competitor intelligence, and market trends to inform and influence marketing, strategic planning, and product/service/technology development. Provide executive oversight to ensure successful project delivery, leading to customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  6. Provide leadership and coaching to matrix reports, including project teams and support groups, in preparing offers, negotiating contracts, and delivering products and services. Focus on executing projects consistent with contractual commitments, cost targets, and schedules, prioritizing safety. Support responsive corrective actions and lessons learned.
  7. Maintain collaborative relationships with internal Westinghouse stakeholders to effectively pursue sales and marketing opportunities.
  8. Aim to grow opportunity pipeline, increase entered orders, and enhance customer satisfaction, as measured by feedback mechanisms. Contribute to achieving sales, gross margin, and cash flow targets. Maintain thorough knowledge of customer asset management plans, plant health issues, equipment reliability, WANO and INPO ratings, and related standards.
  9. Lead and reinforce the use of the customer relations management tool to manage the pipeline and related actions to meet objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  2. 10-15 years of experience in nuclear plant engineering, operations, project/resource management, with direct customer engagement and leadership roles.
  3. Previous leadership experience required.
  4. International experience is valuable due to the diverse customer base.
  5. Travel requirements: 20-30% domestic and international.
  6. Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
