The Role

We’re looking for a talented, results-driven Account Executive to join our team and play a critical role in driving our growth and success. As an Account Executive, you will manage key client relationships, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction while contributing to the company’s long-term objectives. There will be quarterly and annual sales targets. The role will require active prospecting by the AE, in addition to collaboration with the marketing and Business Development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Strategic Growth : Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work to expand client portfolios.
  • Sales and Negotiation : Drive revenue growth by negotiating contracts, closing deals, and ensuring client satisfaction with Qatium’s solutions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Reporting and Insights : Provide regular updates on account performance, client feedback, and opportunities for improvement to senior management.
  • Industry Expertise : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to offer valuable insights to clients.

Background

  • Experience : 5+ years in sales, account management, or business development roles, preferably in SaaS or tech environments.
  • Expertise : Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • Education : A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Skills : Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Mindset : Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a hands-on attitude.

  • Availability to Travel : Occasional travel may be required to meet clients, attend industry events, or conduct workshops.
  • Tech-Savviness : Comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot, as well as platforms like Slack, Miro, and Google Workspace.
  • Cultural Fit : Collaborative, open to feedback, and eager to contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Passion for Sustainability : A genuine interest in environmental issues and a desire to contribute to the global water challenge.
