Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to spearhead our engagement with assigned major telecom operators in Spain. This leadership role is crucial for managing significant partnerships, maximizing device adoption rates, and expanding our brand's footprint in the operator channel. The ideal candidate will have deep telco expertise, C-level relationship management skills, and proven success navigating Spain's complex telecom ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement strategic account plans for assigned operators, targeting substantial revenue growth, increased market share within accounts, and profitability optimization
Build and nurture C-level relationships with operator executives, establishing preferred vendor status and securing exclusive launch partnerships
Lead high-stakes negotiations for annual agreements, including subsidy models, marketing investments, and exclusive product offerings
Drive adoption of our complete portfolio including 5G devices, IoT solutions, and value-added services across consumer and B2B segments
Navigate complex operator requirements including device testing, network certification, and regulatory compliance
Lead cross-functional teams spanning sales, product, technical, and marketing functions
Master operator-specific systems (procurement portals, forecasting tools) and processes
Influence operator strategy on device portfolio, pricing, and go-to-market approaches
Skills & Experience :
8-10+ years in senior telecom account management roles with proven success managing operators in Spain
Track record of managing significant accounts with consistent overachievement of targets
Spanish speaker; English and Catalan are a plus
Deep understanding of Spanish telecom market dynamics, regulatory environment and competitive landscape
Expertise in operator business models, device lifecycle management, and subsidy economics
Strong technical knowledge : 5G, network technologies, device certification processes
Proven ability to influence C-level stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making processes
Proficiency in MS Office
