About the role
We are looking for an Account Director Shopper with solid experience in the FMCG, beverages, food, and retail sectors to lead commerce and brand experience strategies across European markets. You will develop integrated plans that connect shopper needs with impactful brand experiences and commercially effective solutions.
The role requires deep knowledge of shopper marketing, customer & consumer connections, and experience collaborating with bottlers, distributors, and retail channels within multinational environments.
Responsibilities
Lead and integrate with other executive teams the client’s vision for commerce and shopper marketing projects across the EU region.
Leadership and support on the building integrated strategies grounded in consumer insights, commercial context, and retail activation.
Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, media, and data teams to ensure cohesive brand experiences.
Identify innovation opportunities to deepen consumer engagement through experiential solutions.
Liaise with FMCG clients to localize strategies based on market-specific needs.
Oversee implementation and ensure continuous performance optimization
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the account executive profiles. Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Financial Management: Oversee and manage team budgets, production costs, and associated fees.
Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Business Development & Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the overall growth and expansion of the social department.
What we’re looking for
? Based in Madrid
? 8+ years in Account Management with a strong focus on shopper or retail marketing
? Proven success working with consumer brands in multinational contexts
? Deep understanding of key activation channels: retail, digital, experiential, and point of sale
? Strong leadership and client management skills
? Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in Marketing or related field
? Experience within consumer goods marketing
