Join us as an Account Development Specialist to drive revenue growth and customer success across our Spanish and Portuguese markets. You will focus initially on the Spanish market and then develop the Portuguese market by the end of 2025.

You will work closely with Anaïs, our Senior Team Lead Customer Success, and be part of a dynamic CS&D team of 20+ professionals transforming SME finance management across Europe.

As an Account Development Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  1. Drive upselling initiatives to generate MRR through outbound calls and relationship building.
  2. Ensure successful onboarding of new clients by activating their accounts within the first month.
  3. Maintain customer engagement to ensure continued product usage and satisfaction, reducing churn.
  4. Develop the Spanish market and expand into the Portuguese market by building relationships with SMEs.
  5. Proactively reach out to at-risk customers to understand challenges and provide solutions.
What you can expect:
  • Market Context: Join a growing team led by Nelcy Canon, with Anaïs managing French and Spanish markets. You will help build the Portuguese market from scratch.
  • Mission Focus: 70% of your targets will be upselling, with 30% focused on retention and activity development.
  • Team Structure: Collaborate with an existing team member developing the Spanish market.
  • Growth Opportunity: Transition from Spanish market expertise to developing the Portuguese market by year-end, playing a key role in Qonto’s international expansion.
About your future manager:

Anaïs Da Costa has over 6 years at Qonto, evolving from Customer Success Expert to Senior Team Lead. She has extensive experience in international markets and believes in collaborative management, valuing team input and autonomy.

About You:
  • Proven sales or upselling experience in a B2B environment, meeting revenue targets.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with strong English skills.
  • Understanding of Portuguese and Spanish business landscapes and cultural nuances.
  • Proactive, persistent, and comfortable with outbound calls.
  • Creative, autonomous, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
