Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Account Development Manager to join our team. You will identify and acquire high-potential hotel partners, negotiate tailored agreements, and develop long-term commercial strategies to foster business growth and competitive advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Digital Enablement: Promote digital tools and partner portal capabilities to enhance engagement and self-service efficiency.
- Strategic Partner Acquisition: Identify and engage new hotel partners, crafting compelling value propositions for mutual growth.
- Commercial Differentiation: Negotiate exclusive agreements with existing partners to unlock potential.
- Strategic Execution: Implement regional strategies aligned with company objectives, prioritizing based on market intelligence.
- Product Optimization: Analyze partner potential and enhance contracting to improve conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Tool & Process Adoption: Advocate for internal tools, providing feedback for improvements.
- Seamless Transitions: Ensure smooth handovers to different teams, maintaining trust and continuity.
- External Representation: Build relationships with hotel partners and represent HBX Group at industry events.
Required Skills
- Strategic & Commercial Expertise: Knowledge of hotel distribution, revenue management, and crafting value propositions.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Experience in high-value agreement negotiations and stakeholder discussions.
- Product & Revenue Management: Understanding of product portfolios for partner success.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze performance metrics and market trends to inform strategies.
- Relationship Building & Consultative Selling: Strong interpersonal skills and a partner-first approach.
- Collaboration & Influence: Ability to work across teams and influence outcomes.
- Agility & Innovation: Adaptability in fast-paced environments and proactive problem-solving.
- Tool & Process Optimization: Proficiency with internal tools and a proactive approach to technology adoption.
Required Tech Skills
- Data analysis using Excel, Tableau, or similar tools
- Presentation design with PowerPoint
- CRM knowledge, e.g., Salesforce
- Sales enablement tools like Salesloft
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years in commercial roles with client interaction.
- Proven negotiation and account development success.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
