Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) was created by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 to serve as the Host Broadcast organisation for all Olympic Games, Winter Games, and Youth Olympic Games. The Host Broadcaster is responsible for delivering live pictures and sounds of the Olympic Games to billions of viewers worldwide. It produces and transmits unbiased live radio and television coverage of every sport from every venue, called the International Signal or the World Feed.
In March 2018, a Cooperation Agreement between the IOC and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) was signed, ensuring OBS will also serve as the Host Broadcaster for future Paralympic Games. Olympic Broadcasting Services S.L., based in Madrid, Spain, operates OBS.
The Milano Cortina Games requires a Freelancer to be based flexibly around Cortina d'Ampezzo hotels for a short-term but key position within the Games Services Team. The Accommodation Coordinator will assist the Accommodation Operations Manager and Supervisor in implementing the accommodation operational plan during the Milan 2026 Olympics. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hospitality and people service engagement, helping Games personnel relocate to the host country.
This role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners in Cortina d’Ampezzo, collaborating with hotel operations and reservations teams to manage staff accommodations, and ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes. The position requires significant self-management, independence, and flexible working hours, including night shifts within the EU. The schedule is adaptable, and the individual will manage their own timetable, handling arrivals and departures and working as needed.
This is a freelance position from January 2026 to February 2026.
