RMIT University seeks an Academic Director to lead research activities at RMIT Europe based in Barcelona. This dynamic role involves engaging with partners, enhancing collaboration for STEM initiatives, and fostering education partnerships. Ideal candidates have a proven track record in research leadership and are well-networked in Europe.

The STEM College and RMIT Europe are seeking a dynamic and driven Academic Director to join the RMIT Europe team in Barcelona.
In this role, you will lead and expand research activities at RMIT Europe, while fostering new education partnership opportunities across Europe. You will also collaborate closely with the Executive Director to drive growth, enhancing the scope and impact of high-quality research and educational partnerships for STEM in the European region.
The key focus areas for STEM in Europe include : Digital Manufacturing and Circularity, Health Futures, Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure, and Climate Adaptive Cities.
Internal candidates will need to be endorsed by their relevant Head of School / Dean prior to submitting their application as this role will be offered on a 2-3 year secondment for RMIT staff.
