About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Academic Data & Student Records Officer to join our Academic Retention team in Barcelona. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely enrolment of students throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate will collect, manage, and analyze student data throughout the entire academic journey—from enrolment to graduation—while contributing to retention initiatives through data insights and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison with the Accounting department to support payment and enrolment control processes.
• Work closely with the Admissions team to verify enrolments across all study modalities (on campus, digital, virtual), including tracking late arrivals, postponements, and personalized study plans.
• Coordinate with the Academic Department and student counsellors to validate attendance and access to the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Support the IT team in issuing student credentials and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Analyze student data to identify trends and contribute to student retention strategies.
• Maintain and regularly update student records and lists.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of academic retention strategies.
• Help prepare enrolment forecasts for upcoming academic terms.

About You

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience working with databases and generating reports.
• High level of computer literacy; able to extract data from various systems and create clear, actionable reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural and collaborative setting.
• Proactive mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.
