Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a professional for the A400M Materials & Logistics team. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, coordinating with suppliers, and analyzing logistics data to drive efficiency and cost awareness.

You will contribute to cross-functional projects, monitor KPIs, and support purchasing and cost monitoring activities. A minimum of 5 years in related fields and advanced English are required.

Formación

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing or Engineering; experience in Logistics, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Control or Supplier Management is a strong asset.
• Proactive mindset, autonomy, and ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and data analysis / reporting tools (Excel highly valued).
• Previous Airbus or aerospace industry experience and willingness for occasional travel are a plus.

• Support financial-related activities, collaborating with the team on cost monitoring and basic financial analysis.

Job Description

Introduction

An opportunity for an A400M Material Support Specialist has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Materials & Logistics Department supporting the A400M Programme. The department is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials required to support the programme by coordinating supply chain activities, managing logistics flows and working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers. The team is multidisciplinary and highly collaborative, interacting with different Airbus functions such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Finance and Customer Services. Depending on the candidate's profile, the successful applicant will reinforce one of the team's activity areas or combine responsibilities across both operational and analytical functions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the department.

The jobholder will be responsible for:

Skills

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 5 years in Manufacturing, Engineering. Experience in Logistics, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Control or Supplier Management will be considered a strong asset.
• Soft skills: Team player with excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, autonomy, strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.
• Technical knowledge: Knowledge of SAP will be highly valued. Experience working with KPIs, reporting tools, data analysis and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) will be considered an advantage.
• Valuable / Nice to have:Previous experience in Airbus or within the aerospace industry, basic financial knowledge and availability for occasional business travel.
