A Lead Statistician builds and leads teams of statisticians and representatives from other functions, ensuring the use of appropriate and efficient statistical analysis methods during development, submission, and/or lifecycle management of Bayer products according to applicable standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The Lead Statistician also represents projects to line management and governance boards.
Statistics are integral to drug development and lifecycle management, impacting planning, design, analysis, and reporting to achieve regulatory approval, scientific acceptance, and successful product launch and maintenance. The Lead Statistician contributes to drug research, development, approval, and lifecycle management of drugs.

Qualifications : PhD or MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Mathematics; minimum four years of experience as a statistician in Pharma, Biotech, or similar sector; thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical drug development process, lifecycle management, and regulations; experience leading teams; ability to embody VACC behaviors (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach); experience in relevant fields; excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; proficiency in SAS and/or R; fluency in English.
