We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Lead Artist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D as a Generalist or specialist in modeling, texturing, FX or lighting, with a passion for storytelling through visual effects. As the 3D Lead, you will oversee a team of artists, guiding them in the creation of high-quality 3D assets and ensuring that all work meets our artistic standards and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the 3D team in the creation of high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for various projects.
• Collaborate with directors, vfx supervisors, producers, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional visual results.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level artists, fostering their professional growth and artistic development.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on team members' work, ensuring adherence to project goals and quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve processes and workflows.
• Assist in the development of project schedules when required and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to 3D assets and workflows.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in 3D art creation within a VFX or animation studio.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of artists.
• Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
• Familiarity with compositing software such as Nuke or After Effects is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 3D work, including completed projects and individual contributions.
