Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Software Developer to join its Engineering Software team to develop and maintain 3D CAD tools used by global engineering teams. You will work on software centered around PTC Creo Parametric, contributing to efficiency, standardization, and design quality.

You will participate in the full SDLC, from requirements analysis to deployment and support, delivering scalable solutions and technical excellence while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Strong experience developing applications in C#, ideally for PTC Creo Parametric environments.
Hands-on experience with CreoJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of software architecture, code quality practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding standards.
Experience with Azure DevOps and agile software development methodologies.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with excellent English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D CAD engineering tools and related software.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain engineering software applications and enhancements.
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, performance monitoring, and QA practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders and users to deliver scalable solutions and improvements.
