Job summary
Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Software Developer to join the Engineering Software team in Barcelona. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of 3D CAD engineering applications used by global teams, with solutions around PTC Creo Parametric.
You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, stakeholders, and business teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software that improves efficiency, standardization, and design process quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience developing applications in C#, ideally for PTC Creo Parametric environments.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies such as CreoJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of software architecture, code quality practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding standards.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance CAD engineering applications built around PTC Creo Parametric.
- Translate requirements into effective software solutions for engineers.
- Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain engineering software and enhancements.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and performance monitoring.
- Prioritize development to support product roadmap and user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to deliver scalable solutions.
- Incorporate user feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical documentation and release communications.
