Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Software Developer to join its Engineering Software team to develop and maintain 3D CAD tools used by global engineering teams. You will work on software centered around PTC Creo Parametric, contributing to efficiency, standardization, and design quality.

You will participate in the full SDLC, from requirements analysis to deployment and support, delivering scalable solutions and technical excellence while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Strong experience developing applications in C#, ideally for PTC Creo Parametric environments.
• Hands-on experience with CreoJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of software architecture, code quality practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding standards.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with excellent English proficiency.

Software Developer - 3D CAD Engineering Tools

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Engineering Software team, where you will contribute to the development and maintenance of 3D CAD engineering applications used by global engineering teams. In this role, you will work on software solutions built around PTC Creo, helping engineers improve efficiency, standardization, and quality throughout the design process.

Working closely with engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and support. You will contribute to the evolution of engineering tools by developing new functionalities, enhancing existing applications, and ensuring reliable and scalable software solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment where software development and engineering expertise come together to solve complex technical challenges.
