Job Description:

Within your #OneTeam, as a Public Cloud SRE focusing on SDN (Neutron), you will play a key role in driving the evolution and reliability of our OpenStack-based networking solutions.

• Ensure the performance and scalability of network infrastructure for our Clients.
• Deliver core projects while collaborating with technical teams.
• Innovate and contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with security and scalability goals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Improve and refine architecture and source code of existing Neutron architecture within our OpenStack infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver aligned and robust solutions.
• Promote DevOps best practices, maintain high code quality standards, and identify automation opportunities to enhance stability and performance.
• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and share advancements across the organization.

Future Impact:

In 6 months:

• Gain understanding of the existing OpenStack environment and internal processes.
• Familiarize with team workflows, coding standards, and deployment pipelines.
• Establish relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to smaller improvements or optimizations.

In 1 year:

• Contribute to core product roadmap features.
• Maintain high standards of security and compliance.
• Collaborate with the OpenStack community.
• Have advanced networking knowledge about SDN technologies and underlying protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, etc.).
• Understand OpenStack architecture with a focus on SDN (Neutron - L2/L3, DHCP, LBaaS, ML2 plugins, etc.).
• Possess Open vSwitch (OVS) knowledge.
• Have DevOps experience with CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Hands-on experience managing complex IT infrastructures.
• Be collaborative and results-driven.
• Fluent in English.
