Formación

  • Mínimo 6 años de experiencia en un rol de Socio de Negocios de Personas.
  • Fluidez en herramientas de oficina y conocimiento en SAP.

Descripción del empleo

Reporting to the site VP People Function, the People Business Partner - Labor Relations mission will be to lead the People function for his / her area of responsibility, serving as a strategic partner for the business area while also serving as the site's Labor Relations representative, offering strategic vision regarding union management and labor relations for the site, as well as compensation and benefits.

Key Accountabilities

  1. To participate in strategic meetings to capture and be aware of the needs of people and talent from the different areas and business units.
  2. To provide support in the creation, development, and implementation of the area's models, policies, and processes.
  3. To provide guidance and support to management and employees on People issues in line with the company's values and objectives. Provide expert advice, coaching, and guidance in managing People-related issues.
  4. To lead, drive, and design change management projects and initiatives, and support transformation within the company, with a global strategic focus.
  5. To support People Managers in all matters related to people, accompanying and advising them in their decisions, understanding the complexity of each of their realities. Be a strategic partner for senior leaders and management teams on people-related issues.
  6. To promote a positive and inclusive environment conducive to high performance and innovation.
  7. To facilitate expert advice related to:
    1. Talent management: coordinate talent activities such as talent identification, action plans management, succession planning, etc.
    2. Performance management: coordinate all the steps of the performance management process ensuring strategic support.
    3. Talent acquisition: To lead the talent acquisition and onboarding process for newcomers to ensure the best talent in the given groups.
    4. Being actively involved in the talent acquisition process for client groups and assisting with establishing partnerships and recruitment efforts with suitable sources of recruitment.
    5. Learning & Development: Support the Talent People Business Partner in initiatives and programs to identify learning and development needs, design, and implement training programs.

Networking

The People BP works closely with all members of the People Function team on the site. The People BP will interface regularly with assigned client groups and with the functions across the organization as needed. The People BP participates and assists in projects led by the Global People Function Team.

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Labor Relations, or similar. Degree may be substituted by relevant skills and work experience.

Valuable: Additional training in a Master's or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources will be valued.

Experience

Minimum experience of at least 6 years in a People Business Partner role with a focus on Personnel Administration and Labor Relations, preferably in strategic consulting firms (Big Five) or in the chemical / pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology, or similar.

Additional Skills

Fluency in Office Tools (Excel & Word), Valuable knowledge in SAP.

Language: Fluency in Spanish or Catalan. Advanced knowledge of English (reading, speaking, and writing).
