UBS invites ambitious students to join its 2027 Off-cycle Internship Program within Global Wealth Management in Madrid or Barcelona. This paid six-month internship offers exposure to client-facing wealth management activities and collaboration with diverse teams on strategic projects.

You'll learn about the industry, culture, and strategy, supported by mentors and senior leaders, with opportunities to network, attend educational events, and potentially receive a Graduate Talent Program offer

Formación

• Penultimate or final year of degree or recently graduated (no more than 6 months from internship start)
• Interest in finance and wealth management
• Willing to comply with FUE internship requirements in Spain

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Madrid or Barcelona. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.

Your expertise

Internships in Spain must meet specific academic and regulatory requirements set by the Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE), including the need for an approved university internship agreement and compliance with recent Social Security obligations. Eligibility can vary depending on each university’s policies and whether the internship is curricular or extracurricular, so students should confirm their eligibility with their institution before applying. We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• is in the penultimate or final year of their degree, or has recently graduated (no more than 6 months from the internship start date)
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.

Your program

This paid internship will last six months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
