We are looking for a senior technician with an entrepreneurial profile for the research group "Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis," with experience in health data science and software development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will carry out activities for transferring a technology developed by the research group to the productive sector. Additionally, they will support demonstrative activities necessary for the technical validation of the technology, aligned with the value generation proposal.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in biosciences and/or business management (minimum 60 ECTS).
• Proficiency in English (C2 level).
• Creative skills in innovation, team leadership, motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, and communication skills. The candidate should view the project as an opportunity for professional growth in innovation and knowledge transfer.
• Knowledge of business incubation or acceleration programs, ethics, regulation, and privacy is a plus.
• Experience in the non-academic sector, such as start-ups or deep tech, is valued.
• Knowledge of metabolomics in health research is a plus.
• Experience in NMR-based metabolomics and biomarker discovery, especially in clinical research or translational health data analysis, is valued.
• Experience applying machine learning and deep learning (including CNNs) to biomedical data for diagnostics, predictive modeling, and metabolomic analysis is beneficial.
• Previous knowledge of health data analysis, software development (Python, R, Matlab, C), and software engineering (full-stack development, API, Docker, workflow automation) is advantageous.
