A public research institution in Spain is seeking a researcher to support a study on chronic pain and neuromodulation. The candidate will provide technical support, conduct EEG records, and analyze data. A Master's degree in neuroscience or related fields and basic experience in experiments are required, along with a B2 level of English. This is a full-time temporary position with funding from the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for a study on the effects of non-invasive electrical brain stimulation (tACS) on different EEG parameters under the framework of project PID2022-140561NB-I00 on chronic pain and neuromodulation. They will be in charge of contacting experiment participants, undertaking EEG records and preliminary data analysis.

A master’s degree in any of the following fields: neuroscience, psychology, biology, nursing, physiotherapy, medicine, engineering or similar.

Basic experience in experiments (having passed courses linked to data analysis and recording physiological signs).
Language requeriments
A B2 level of English.

Eligibility criteria
• Curricular merits in the field (max. 40 points).
• Qualifications in the specialist area (max. 20 points), other (max. 5 points).
• Video curriculum and, if applicable, personal interview (max. 20 points).
• Experience in the field (max. 15 points). E.g.: > 3 years (10 points), < 3 years (5 points).
• Other merits (max. +5 points). E.g.: recommendation letters.
Eligibility threshold: 60 points.
Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non-EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT 145140 of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.

ii. The supervisor (or delegated representative).
iii. The members of the Research Area Assessment Committee (CARAI).
iv. One or more expert members in the topic pertaining to the recruitment and chosen by the chair of the committee,
where applicable.
v. The head of FORHU (or delegated representative), as secretary, who may speak but not vote.
