The Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) seeks a Research Laboratory Technician.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced cell culture/molecular biology research technician for Dr. Laura Soucek’s Models of Cancer Therapies Group at VHIO in Barcelona.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a PhD
  • At least 3 years of prior lab experience with:
    • Mammalian tissue culture (e.g., proliferation/cell death assays)

Plus, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Mouse handling and treatment experience
  • Good computer skills for data collection, organization, and presentation
  • Knowledge of English
  • Preparing and maintaining common lab reagents
  • Tracking and ordering lab supplies

Conditions:

  • Permanent contract.
