La Universidad de León busca 2 investigadores para un proyecto enfocado en el diseño de polímeros termofijos biodegradables. Los candidatos deberán contar con un título en Biología, Biotecnología o áreas afines y tendrán responsabilidades que incluyen desde el aislamiento de microorganismos hasta la gestión de datos del proyecto, contribuyendo así a la sostenibilidad y reciclaje de materiales.

Formación

• Conocimiento en Microbiología Aplicada.
• Conocimiento en Bioinformática.
• Conocimiento de biología molecular y estructura de proteínas es un plus.

Responsabilidades

• Aislamiento y caracterización de microorganismos con capacidad degradativa.
• Análisis omicos de microorganismos seleccionados.
• Identificación de enzimas y vías metabólicas.

2 Researchers for the implementation of the tasks included in the project titled :

DESign of bio-based Thermoset polymer with rEcycLing capabiLity by dynAmic bonds for bio-composite manufacturing - ESTELLA

Profile requested (indicate the specific tasks to be carried out) :

• Isolation and characterisation of microorganisms with degradative capacity.
• Omic analysis of the selected microorganisms.
• Identification of enzymes and metabolic pathways involved in the degradation of epoxides.
• Biological recycling of composites. Selection of the most efficient recycling technique.
• Design and definition of recycling at scale.
• Techno-economic and life cycle analysis. Social Impact Assessment.
• Activities : i) Dissemination and Communication; ii) Project data management and iii) Intellectual property protection and exploitation of results, related to the experimental tasks carried out.
• Preparation and writing of reports (e.g., deliverables, project reports), presentations, articles and patents.

• It will be an asset if the candidate is the author of scientific publications that accredit his or her training.
• Possession of other qualifications equal to or higher than the specific qualification required will be an asset.
