Our client is currently seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant to join their global in-house project team.

Available locations: Zaragoza, Spain

Type of employment: Permanent, full-time. Applications welcomed from local and EU-based candidates. VISA sponsorship will be provided (only for EU-based candidates open to re-location to Spain). Relocation package available for EU-based candidates open to relocate to Spain.

Work model: Hybrid (50% home-office)

Main responsibilities:

1. Participate in the implementation and further development of the global process template in S/4 HANA.
2. Analyze, define, and configure business processes in IBP Demand, Fulfillment/Response, and Supply Planning.
3. Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and IT teams to ensure alignment between system capabilities and business needs.
4. Translate business requirements into functional specifications within SAP IBP modules, especially in Demand, Fulfillment/Response, and/or Supply Planning.
5. Configure SAP IBP modules to support optimized planning processes.
6. Set up planning areas, key figures, planning views, and time profiles.
7. Integrate IBP with other systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA, APO, or external data sources).
8. Support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle: from blueprinting and prototyping to testing and go-live.
9. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
10. Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements.
11. Stay updated on SAP IBP innovations and best practices.

Main skills and competencies required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP IBP demand, fulfillment/response, and/or supply planning areas.
• Knowledge in SAP SD, MM, APO, ATP will be a bonus.
• Strong process knowledge in logistics/supply chain area.
• Experience working in Agile project environments (SCRUM) and project management experience will be a bonus.
• Proficiency in English.
• Some flexibility for international travel (limited, scheduled ahead, within Europe).
