La Universidade de Vigo busca un/a Investigador/a temporal a tiempo parcial para unirse al grupo de C01 Functional Biology and Health Sciences. Trabajará bajo la supervisión del responsable, diseñando y ejecutando experimentos, analizando muestras y preparando resultados para su publicación.

Qualifications

• Formación académica y experiencia en universidades, organismos públicos o empresas.
• Mínimo 6 meses de experiencia en tareas de apoyo a investigación sobre fisiología de peces.
• Conocimientos de inglés.
• Proyecto de fin de grado relacionado con fisiología y nutrición de peces.
• Participación en artículos de investigación y comunicaciones a congresos.

Responsibilities

• Participar en el diseño de experimentos.
• Participar en la entrega de fármacos y la toma de muestras biológicas.
• Participar en el análisis de muestras de tejido de peces usando técnicas espectrofotométricas, electroforesis, RT-qPCR y clonación.
• Participar en la preparación de resultados y su análisis estadístico.
• Participar en la discusión de resultados y redacción de artículos de investigación.

Offer Description

Main functions of the position: Reporting to the person in charge of the research group, the candidate will carry out the following activities:

• (a) participate in the design of experiments
• (b) participate in drug delivery and taking of biological samples
• (c) participate in the analysis of fish tissue samples using spectrophotometric techniques, electrophoresis, RT-qPCR, and cloning
• (d) participate in the preparation of results and their statistical analysis
• (e) participate in the discussion of results and writing of research articles

Item 01: Academic training, professional experience in universities, public organizations or companies and knowledge of english (punctuation: 30)

Item 02:

• Minimum experience of 6 months in supporting research tasks on fish physiology (mandatory requirement).
• Higher Technician in dioetetics and nutrition (punctuation: 25)

Item 03:

• End-of degree project related to fish physiology and nutrition.
• Participation in research articles related to the line of research.
• Participation in communications to conferences related to the line of research (punctuation: 30)

Item 04: Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with those 3 candidates who, in the sum of the merits, reach a minimum of 50 points (punctuation: 15)
