Descripción del empleo

The Business Unit Head will lead and optimize cross-functional teams spanning finance, customer success, fraud prevention, business development, talent, and data. This role is pivotal in driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the seamless execution of key business processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Business Unit Head will be responsible for developing, refining, and scaling operational frameworks to support the company’s ongoing expansion.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring targets are met or exceeded including control of:
  2. relationships with banks and payment systems to secure optimal commissions;
  3. seamless client fund flows;
  4. uninterrupted operation of payment services;
  5. fraud prevention policies and procedures.
  6. Re)define and establish KPIs and performance metrics for operations and leadership teams to drive accountability and success.
  7. Re)develop and optimize scalable processes and systems to enhance efficiency and support growth.
  8. Provide regular updates to leadership, emphasizing operational performance, key insights, and growth opportunities.
  9. Lead high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and timely execution.
  10. Prepare detailed reports and analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
  11. Oversee the implementation of operational improvements to meet strategic growth objectives.
  12. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values and objectives.
  13. Take initiative, execute with excellence, embrace continuous learning, and consistently strive for improvement.

Requirements

  1. Higher education in finance, economics, or management.
  2. Fluent English and Russian languages.
  3. Proven Experience: minimum of 4–6 years in management consulting, senior operations, or leadership roles, ideally in financial services, or tech / fintech / SaaS environments. Demonstrated success in scaling organizations while implementing effective operational strategies.
  4. Knowledge of modern payment systems, fraud monitoring methods, and client transaction management.
  5. Experience leading transformative initiatives, such as scaling teams across multiple locations to support business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong company culture across distributed teams.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical background with experience working with large data sets, extracting insights. Expertise in data-driven decision-making.
  7. Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to the dynamic nature of the role, which evolves approximately every 6 months. Strong process-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring scalable and efficient operational practices.
  8. Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead and inspire globally distributed teams, bringing out the best in diverse talent across multiple time zones and cultures.
  9. Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  10. Stakeholder collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring alignment on business objectives and operational strategies. Proven experience working closely with development teams to implement scalable solutions, streamline processes, and drive cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency and innovation.
