A leading university in Spain is offering a full-time position for a First Stage Researcher in the area of quantum communications and key distribution systems. Responsibilities include analyzing detector security, developing certification methodologies, and authoring scientific publications. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and demonstrate relevant research skills. This temporary contract provides a monthly salary of approximately €1960.

Formación

• Proven experience in experimental security analysis of quantum key distribution systems.

Offer Description

Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, among others :

• Read scientific literature in the area of quantum communications and quantum key distribution systems.
• Analyze the security of the detector unit in these systems and develop methodology for its certification against imperfections.
• Build and program an automated test bench for testing the detector unit in these systems against security vulnerabilities.
• Author scientific publications that report own research.

Item 01 : University Education (punctuation : 35)

Item 03 : Proven experience in experimental security analysis of the detection unit in quantum key distribution. (punctuation : 25)

Item 04 : Personal interview. The interview will be held only for the candidates who obtain a minimum of 50 points when adding all the merits. (punctuation : 15)
